Pécs lies at the foot of one of the highest chains of the the Mecsek Hills. First named Sopianae, the settlement came under the authority of the Roman Empire in 10 BC. The early Christian period of Sopianae is preserved by the Early Christian Necropolis uncovered in the area in front of the current Cathedral around the former Mons Sacrum (Sacred Hill). This unique heritage complex was entered onto the World Heritage Sites. 
Orfû is 3 km from here. The village has been a holiday resort for many decades. Bathing and rowing can be enjoyed at Lake Orfû. Vernacular houses have been preserved in many of the settlements belonging to Orfû. There are many lovely forests in surrounding where you can find untouched places of the nature.

Farm description:
This is a well-functioning hotel and horse farm. Almost every week are weddings and other programmes (conferences, training session) in the air-conditioned private room (150 persons). The family hotel with a country atmosphere with its area 30 hectares is perfectly suitable for both active and passive recreation, spending leisure time and entertainment.
